I have my community service done for the year. I dragged the community hall parking lot to remove large ruts from our big rain. Also cut the weeds around the grave yard. The weeds will be cut by hand around the stones. Years ago all the work was done with a hoe. Then when the string cutters came along, that's how it was done by everyone, That was ok with me. In a hour or so it was done. Now The powers in charge decided it was too hot, and we are getting too old. The work is now done by someone else to be paid. Glad my Dad isn't around to see this. This was a farming community. I don't think a little heat or age stopped stopped the old timers back then. I think we are turning into a bunch of softies. Stan
