Well said. I don't claim to have all the answers on this complicated issue. Yes, the virus is a serious health threat, and yes we cannot keep the country locked down long enough to cripple the economy to the point of no return. I'm guessing that most if not all of the nay sayers on here have just been lucky enough to be distanced from the virus. Once it hits home, they may quickly change their tune. My aunt's neighbor was in his 40's and died of this just a few weeks ago. His wife and two young kids had it as well, but were lucky enough to not need to be hospitalized. One member at my parents church died, and another church member and friend of 25+ years was hospitalized with it. He could not talk to his wife for more than two minutes over the phone, just couldn't catch his breath. He is in his mid sixties and had a heart attack years ago, so from the way it sounds from many on here he should have just been left for dead. Thankfully he is recovered now. Oh, and the retired owner of the general contractor I'm for (Tarlton, a 200+ million dollar company) recently passed away from this. Yes, he was 83 but that doesn't mean he didn't have more life to live. My point is the virus is real even if you haven't seen it or been effected by it yet.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
