looks that way to me ,..It took a Hard whack for sure ! ,. I would like to know the rest of the story ,.. I know of a nice Neighbor on a Case 830 that nosed out onto Hiway 111 too far . 30 yrs ago .He got the 830 clipped by a Triaxle dump truck, The 830 brokeaway behind the bell housing . leaving the neighbor sitting unharmed on the seat with a 7ft 3pt bush hog ballancing the rear axle , No steering wheel ! All clutch and Brake pedals fully depressed !. the 830 diesel motor was salvaged and went into another tractor and the rear end was salvaged for parts and junked.. /// Pop bought a 530 that had a new clutch back in the early 70s. I tried it out raking hay and noticed a clunking sound when i crossed the creek ,. Finished raking the little Piece there and went to stop to disengage the rake and Barely could get the tractor to stop and I knocked it out of GEAR ,,. WTH !,. the tranny bolts were ready to fall out! , All I had was a cresent and vice grip, But I was able Draw it back up tite by going from bolt to bolt . Then I crossed the creek to the big field and raked it , Then they were loose again , but not nealy as bad .. I drawed Them up tite again to go home 2 miles away .. I was 13 at the time . And That was the 1st time I found out about LOCKTITE ,. Thats what We used on the those bolts because POP did not trust them , They Held good from there on ... Monday Is GOOD on this Farm We got a new bull calf .

Today's Featured Article - A Question for Dads This recent topic from the Tractor Talk discussion board is being highlighted because it is an awesome display of the caliber of individuals that have made this site their own. The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
