Much depends on the following factors that will help. Color change (from dark to silver/hammered takes a bit more than silver over silver) Roughness of the surface (from pretty smooth to corrugated requires more) Amount of thinner/reducer per unit paint (to get it to flow correctly) Whether you put a hardener in it (adds volume to the total) type of gun (related to thinner % but also pattern)
