Assuming you are talking about a late 80s early 90s ag Tractor. It mounts on the side of the main transmission housing in front of the left rear axle. Look under the cab behind the steps where you enter the cab, this is where the octopus resides. You can see it in the attached Deere parts diagram, click on the link, you may need to scroll down to ...Hydraulic 70... click on that and look at the first diagram.
