Not a lot of grass (corn) planted south western Indiana . None locally is more than 2 inches above ground. Fortunately unlike soy plants the growing tip is still underground, likely freeze point as deep as growing point. With seed prices so costly per unit would hate for local friends ( yes, I have some LOL) to lose crop . Still time to replant. However with basis of corn price bring income per bushel so low replant makes a loss per acre before corn gets a start above ground. In my younger days price per bushel number 2 corn at 1.50 was loss. With inflation of inputs now $3.50 seems lower in fact than 1.50. A large Thank You to those still farming and hoping for more realistic prices.
