IF the Wheat Montana your talking about is the place I've seen it is at Three Forks not Livingston. Livingston has the Yellowstone truck stop on top of the hill west of town. Wheat is on the north side of the interstate with a truckstop on the south side. Then go over the hill to Whitehall. A nice scenic drive is across US-12 from south of Missoula over to Lewiston WA. Then you can drop down to Pendleton OR from Walla Walla WA take Or HWY 11 through Milton-Freewater This will put you out to I-90 without having to go down the hill from LaGrande If you get close to Grangeville ID stop at the Deere dealer and see if Ted is still around. He has a fine collection of tractors including some old odd stuff. There was 2 models Yuba tractors some old Caterpillars and lots of wheel tractors in 2 different sheds there. There were also a few Cats setting around the Deere dealer lot he owned. I was there 6-7 years ago. He was in his late 70's or 80's then. I think he told me the Yuba's were a friend of his pieces. Might even be able to check with the dealer ahead of time to see if it is all still there.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
