So I've been absent due to some computer problems. Laptop went crazy, cursor had a mind of its own. Wandered aimlessly across the screen. Then the screen itself shifted from one menu to another. It was like a thing possessed. Someone's looking at it, don't know if it can be saved. In the meantime I have a refurbished PC I bought locally and I can get online again. So I wanted to insert myself back into the conversation, which I've been able to follow on my phone.
So for the dry topic: Oil dry. Gotta love it. ANyone have a favorite? I've made a bit of a mess with a recent engine swap, even though I tried to be careful. I'm using clay kitty litter, which seems to do a good job. Also sawdust that I scoop up from recent chainsawing. Those two things. I don't actually have the product that's meant for this purpose. Is it any better?
Also---seems that I've seen people pour their oil dry of choice on the actual stains, after the wet oil puddle is gone. Is there ANY value in that, other than looking at a patch of oil dry instead of the stain itself? I'm not too concerned with totally erasing the oil stains. It is a garage floor after all.
And there's even a third part to this question: How do you go about it? Rags first? Then soak it up with oil dry, or just walk away and hope it dries up by itself?

But no matter how good or bad auctions may be, we always seem to stay until the item we've come for or are interested in is on the block. I've been to some auctions near and far. I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
