Looks good. I have tried hauling hay many ways, but never truck and trailer. Guys that I know that have tried to haul more than just a few hundred with a trailer pulled by a pickup, usually end up screwing the trucks transmission. I have hauled 1,000-1,500 bales per year this way. Strapped down nothing gets away, but putting on straps is time consuming.
Now I use this wagon and haul nearly twice the load, but at half the speed. Only strap for road travel. Don’t think that the would come off, but keeps the cops happy. Unsecured loads of hay going down the road now can get you a ticket . Not sure if the police would ticket your rig if it had straps or not?? Department of Motor Vehicles targets the kind of truck trailer rigs you have for weight and licensing regulations. Both trucks and trailers have to pass safely inspection every year, and drivers must have appropriate class license. So many rules now to move a little hay
