My place is a little NE of where that picture was taken,old woods are pretty open but can have very thick Mountain Laurel some so thick on the mountain on my place no way hardly to walk thru it.New growth woods are full of blackberries,mulitflora rose,honey suckle, all sorts of plants until the trees shade them out.Trees are Hickory several types,several types of Oak,Persimmon,Scyamore,Holly,Maples,Red Cedar,Black Locust,Walnut.Animals on my farm are Whitetail Deer,Black Bear,Coyotes,Fox,Raccoon,Possom,rabbits,squirrels etc.
