A lot of new homes are being sold in our area. We live about twenty miles west of Phoenix. Many are people retiring as their are several 55 and older communities being developed. I read a while back where Buckeye, Az is the fastest growing city in the nation. My wife and I were involved in a serious automobile accident recently, fortunately nobody involved was hurt but we did have to replace our vehicle. Even as all dealerships seem to be heavily stocked with inventory we found that you still have to search for any kind of a discount bargain. Most offered discounts that would not even cover the sales tax. A person has to brace themselves for the sticker shock of a new, fairly well equipped full sized SUV. Anywhere from sixty five to one hundred thousand. Ended up dealing with the owner of the dealership and bought a year old Expedition that his wife had put a few miles on and I offered him twenty under the sticker. It took him a bit to except the offer but in the meantime we discovered we live about a mile from each other. I love dealing with people who can make up their mind and also have the authority to make the decision.
