Yes, there is supposed to be a dust cap, and it needs to be there for the cap to fit right and proper rotor clearance.
There were several distributors used, really need the number off the distributor to get the right parts. With that number, you might find the part numbers online.
Looking at the YT parts, (not having the dist number) nothing appeared to match, but they could have them.
I doubt any local auto supply will stock them, even if you give them the part number. Maybe Tractor Supply if you take them in and match them up. Don't expect real high quality from there. Compare everything carefully, especially the rotor. Save your old condenser!
Be careful replacing the coil that you get the right one. need to find out if the tractor has a resistor or resistor wire. To find out, turn the ignition on, put your volt meter from the + coil terminal to ground. Ground the - terminal. If the voltage stays up near battery volts, it does not have a resistor. If it drops to around 8-9 volts, it has a resistor. Choose your coil accordingly. Be sure to check the information printed on the coil can itself, not the box. They are often miss boxed.
