The plunger is a valve spool. There should be a seal in the body around it.
If you go over to the n tractor club site library and look under Implements>Loader, you will see a Davis 99-101-102 Operator's manual and right below it a Davis 101-102 parts manual. The Operator's manual looks like the right base part number but a 2 suffix not the 3 suffix AGCO currently lists on the 690379M3. The parts manual publication number (651027M91) is different Than the publication number 651095M91 for the current parts manual (which does not come up at the AGCO on line parts books) but the valve is similar or the same. Those manuals should help you. Here is the info where you can get to the AGCO on line parts books and AGCO publications. As for parts you can try a Massey Ferguson or AGCO dealer. Massey acquired Davis loaders, and developed them further as their own. I believe you may find the valve is an AICO, and likely no longer in production.
