A 10x38 is one size smaller than a 11x 38 and for around last 40 years the 10 was resized to 10.2, the 11 was resized to 12.4. and the 10.00 was no longer made even in early 50's as it was a round tire that was cross section same as height. When the 10 was out they went to width and height was forgotten. Did you mean 10 and not 10.00? very big sizeand age difference there. I am guessing you ment 10.2 and not 10.00. A 10.00 would be about equal in total height to about a 13.6 or even a 14.9 tire. A 10.00 tire was no longer used when the first H to use 38" rubber was made. At time a 10.00 tire was made a different tire was sized like 13.75 or simular size markings. The 10.00 size was no longer in production when I was born in 1943. So I am guessing you did not realize you were using an 8o rear old sizing and not the newer sizing without a desimall point untill the current sizing of 11.2 for the old 10" and 12.4 for the old 11" and 13.6 for the old 12". In your first post you are using a sizing of 10.00 and in this you are using 10, two different size tires.
