Meccum auction Spring Fling is happening in Davenport, Ia right now, today is the last day. For several years now, the tractor club in Geneseo, Illinois has driven tractors thru the ring for them and they give a generous donation to the club. I went up yesterday and helped drive tractors. What I saw sell sold good in my opinion. The first one I drove was a 1965 Oliver 1850, restored and great tires, $12,500. Next was a John Deere 830 Industrial, about $10,000. . Next up was a JD 420 Industrial, I think it was around $4000
Next up was a JD 5020, brought $19,500 The last one I drove thru was a Farmall M Cotton Harvester, $4500. Good day, didn’t get rained on, family coming today so I can’t go back today.
