This is a photo of the last field I baled yesterday and was the only field that got wet before it was baled, it got 1/2 a 10th Thursday afternoon and was dry enough to bale by 10 AM Friday without tedding.
Over 3 weeks between 3 rain showers we cut, raked and baled 972 4x5 rolls off of 6 locations totaling 175 acres, 18 fields ranging from 2 acres to 30
Not a record by any means but not bad for a small operation like our's.
Thanks to the help of my brother and a couple of nephews we were able to keep things rolling and only have 55 acres with hay still in the field, that will be moved off in the next couple of days.
Other than running one of the two tractors and mowers I spent most of my time in my 6610 pulling the baler.
Now that the hay is rolled I'll be looking into why the AC quit on day two, it got pretty toasty in the cab on a couple of hot days

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
