In an older model with a gear transmission you might be able to get away with another fluid but with HST do not stray from the UDT/UDT2. At least it is only 6.5 gallons. $100 for 5 gallons at Messicks online. For the transmission and front differentials, use your choice of fluids.
I was going to swap to WIX filters on my M7060. Kubota filters were like $100 for the pair vs $20 for WIX (just hydraulic filters). When I examined the WIX photos I noticed that they did not have magnets on them to collect debris like the OEM filters. Now I am strictly staying with Kubota filters on my Kubota equipment. I highly recommend getting parts and filters from Messicks as they have about the best prices and super fast shipping (1-2 days here in Ohio). All the parts diagrams are on their website and for me I also have IH, Ford and New Holland equipment. They carry all of these brands making it a one stop shop for me...
