Load range E barely gets him in the ball park. He loads a pile of dirt with 8000 lbs on one side and 6000 lbs on the other and now 2 tires are over weight.
I would be looking for load range F 4000 lb tires. And finding a load range F in a narrow LT tire may be a problem.
Like I said I would agree with you if we were talking 3500 lb axles. Put some LT tires on it and be done with it. But 7000 lb axles are really a different story. One reason I hate 7000 lb axles. In my opinion I feel 14k trailers should have tri axles or at least 2 dual tire axles. 3500 and 4000 lb on each tire should be left to semi's that can handle that kind of weight.
