Working correctly, the operation should be as follows: I hook up the tractor to a rotary cutter, and connect the PTO. I get on the seat, with the engine running, I push down the clutch pedal completely (as far as it can move), I move the PTO control lever int the ON position. I start to lift my foot holding the clutch pedal and the cutter begins to turn and the engine governor changes the sound of the engine. As I give it more throttle, the cutter can be herd whirring more loudly. I have my foot off of the clutch. I want to start mowing, so I push down the clutch about 60% of the way to the max, and put it in gear. Then let the clutch out moderatly fast and the tractor moves forward mowing. This is about what should happen. We need to determine what does happen. Jim
