Now if the tax levie(the budget) goes up, then the tax amount will change. Another way, if the assessment doubles from 10K to 20K and the budget remains the same. The tax rate, the amount per 1K will be cut in half and you will pay 20X, rather than 10X, but the actual cost will be the same.
