hyd cylinders leaking past, the interlock in the system has a chunk of something in it letting it not function and not lock the gate closed or you have a issue in your tractor remote are the hyd reasons I have also seen the latches themselves get out of adjustment,, I assume you have had it a while and know how to go through a full cycle and make the system lock as per ops manual
