If the dexta is the older on with the pneumatin governed injection pump it originally had a primer pump that was part of the fuel on off valve that was where the line came out of the tank. The procedure for starting was to pump the primer pump several times then heat for 1 to 3 minutes or such according to the air temperature. I can't remember if the later dexta had the primer or not but think it may have.The fitting at the heater was where the fuel line was attached.The later Super Dexta had a cold start button that was in the center of the fuel cut off lever on the pump and the pump was on the right side of the engine. The older Dexta had the pump on the left side of the engine.Both were excepionally good tractors and many are still going.
