Hindsight is always 20/20. Accurate prediction of the future seldom happens which is one reason you see few multi-generation farms. Guys around here went hard into the dairy business during the 1960's when feed, labor, fuel, and interest were cheap only to be up ended by the 1980's and gone. Guys who played it too safe then they found that they could not support a family on 25-30 cows by the 1980's. One piece of advice which withstands the test of time is booms are seldom long lived. Don't plan on a sharp rise in commodity prices lasting for many years on end.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
