Back in the 70's a neighbor mistook the 303 hydraulic oil can for motor oil can at a oil change during spring tillage. The 4020 started burning oil and needed an overhaul after running hard for half a day with a full pan of 303 hydraulic oil in the engine.
If you only have one quart of hydraulic oil in the pan and no motor oil yet, I would drain the pan and start over. One quart of hydraulic oil is only what $5 or $6?
