I had a dead battery in a tractor that hasn't been started in just over a year. The battery a 6 volt was completely dead. So I charged it and it came to almost full charge. I let it set for the night and in the morning checked it again and it was dead. So I looked at the date on the battery and it was JULY 2005. So I guess it is time for a new one. Wow has the price gone up in the 15 years ago when I bought this old one.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
