Old sofa bed was worn out and Son and granddaughter were visiting from Montana in January while I was having my gall bladder removed so I decided that I must buy a new sofa bed. Long story.
I hate buying furniture because I know little about such and always pay too much for the wrong stuff.
When in the house watching TV, etc., I would sit in the corner of the old (good but worn out) sofa bed with a pillow between me and the arm rest. Doing so made my back hurt.
Went furniture shopping and bought a new (not so good but new) sofa bed to replace old one.
Visit went well but new sofa bed hurts my back more than did old sofa bed while watching riveting TV, so decided to buy matching (while I could still get matching) chair so as to position chair such that I could watch TV, etc., directly rather than obliquely while sitting in corner of sofa bed. Was really raped by furniture store on chair because by this time they knew too much about why I was buying it but ordered it anyway.
After receiving new chair and positioning it, realized that I now needed an end table for lamp, clicker, phone, etc., so back to furniture store. Raped again but did get decent end table for about twice what it should have cost.
New chair hurts my back more so than does new or old sofa bed.
