My wife left Friday afternoon for a girls weekend. So it was just me and the kids. We got up Saturday morning and went and met a guy about some implements he has. I found a disc, a brush hog that I wanted. He could not locate the plow he had told me about. He said his dad may have moved it. I have to go back. I found another piece that I did not know what it was and had left my phone in the truck. We then had some running around to do. We got home around 5pm. I did the chores at home and then fixed SOS for supper. I got the kids up at 7am this morning and we went to the flea market. I could not find another good "what is it". Lol. Yesterday I picked up some RM43 to spray some grass I wanted to kill. We got home around 10am. I then went out and sprayed two sprayer full. Then I cleaned out all my dogs water buckets. I also put the battery back on my daughters jeep and charged it. I then fed all the animals. I finally walked back in the house at 6pm. By the way, it was 93 here today with a heat index of 100 . With 76% humidity. I was soaked when I got in the house. My wife had got back home in the mean time. I then fixed dinner. I fixed street tacos, rice, and black beans. Finished eating around 8. I am done for the day! Now go to bed and go to work tomorrow! How was everyone else's weekend?

This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
