Ok, pics aren't the best but maybe they will help. To remove the belt you have left in place; assuming you have removed the belt guide in the first pic and the idler pulleys at the top (pic 2), start removing the belt by lifting/pushing it up (from the bottom) between the final drive pulleys (pic 3). Once you have done that it is a simple matter of passing it to the front of the idler pulley tubes and threading it over the main drive shaft and then the reverse shaft.
