I am looking for an engine to replace a 123ci. engine. I need a bigger one the will bolt up to the same bell housing. I understand that I could probably bolt the old clutch bell housing up to it. A friend of mine told me that a cont. eng. out of a Massey Harris 30 will work for my application. I have looked in a book and found that some MH 30s have a 134ci. eng. and another MH 30K has a 163 eng. I am looking for a bigger engine with the approximate same outside dimentions as a 123 ci. I am looking for an engine that is affordable. I don't care if it smokes alot and doesn't run right. Just cheap. I just don't want one with a Bad head, crank , cam, block, broken rods etc. Thank you
