I have baled past midnight several times, not to try to keep the leaves on because it was too dry, but just trying to catch up. Because my hay is nearly all wrapped, the moisture isn’t much of a concern. Rusty, you must have one heck of a time rolling up a straw bale with that baler if it doesn’t like dry hay. Or perhaps you never bale straw ?
