I lucked out on that storm, all the weather warnings on tv and radio kept saying 70 to 100 mph winds. There was some stiff wind but didn't hurt anything but my sweet corn. Foreston Il. got flattened fifteen miles south of me. Rockford area to the east had some twisters, there was four inches of rain to the north and I got two and a half.
However in 1999 straight line wind blew a cattle shed through the upstairs of the house, couldn't take another one of them.
