My father ad two such engines; one on the 52 bailor , one on the combine, Both were called U 2 IHC 113 or 123 engine. The IHC engine was far superior to the air cooled ones. He had worked for an IHC dealer in the area and found that those who had air cooled engines had 3 or more times the difficulties, the reason being the farmers would idle them ; the engine would over heat causing excessive damage. The water cooled IHC U2 could idle add day with no damage. I well remember both and some times wish I had space for them today. Good machines. Wm.
