Chief, despite being at opposite ends of the country the network news broadcasts plenty of news about CA. They tell us how during periods of high electrical use that they institute rolling blackouts so that they can distribute available current around on a somewhat even basis so that they are not cutting 37 chief out for a whole night. John, network news also tells us that most of the utilities in CA are bankrupt and in receivership, which tends to put a damper on new generating capacity construction.
