I buy and sell a LOT using both marketplace and CL. My buying and selling experiaces are at least 95% positive. Not making excuses for bad behavior but as one other poster said a person better have cash in hand and truck running when a bargain appears. When an item is listed at a very good price the seller is often inundated with responces. I removed a steel vent/cupola from one of my barns that had a weather vane attached. I was going to scrap it and wife says somebody might buy it so I put out ads for $100 and had like 25 imediate responses. First guy offered me $50 and I told him Id think about it. 5 min later another person says they will take it for $100 and be here in 20 minutes so I sold it. First guy cusses me when he calls back. Told him I coukd have sold it 30 tines for full price why would I play money games with him??? Lesson for him is BUY don't kick tires when the price is all ready good. I have yet to run into a seller that would not hold an item while I was travelling to buy it and I do sane for buyers. I did however purchase a dump truck at about 50% of its value and while I was counting out the cash another person appeared and after the deal was done the seller said the guy had driven 3 hours,,, isn't right to treat people that way.

I really hate to see a good tractor being treated that way, but not being able to start it without a 30 minute point filing ritual every time contributed to its demise. If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
