We got this puppy a couple of months ago. She is about 6 months old now. We also have a older dog. The puppy is very energetic and the older dog is very laid back.
So the puppy cries at the door to go outside and run around. But she does not want to go outside by herself.
So we open the door to let her out and she turns around and starts barking at the older dog to go outside. She will not go outside until we force the older dog to go outside with her. This went on for several weeks.
Then yesterday the puppy starts crying at the door. We open the door for her to go outside. The puppy turns around and starts barking at older dog to go out. The older dog jumps off chair and heads for door. Puppy runs outside. Older dog stops; turns around and jumps back on chair. We closed the door.
Who says you can not teach a old dog new tricks. It amazes me how smart a dog really is.
