Our neighbor rents our 244 acres........ When the JD BALER malfunctioned,Karen(Neighbor lady) had the operational manual, Parts manual and other information on the tail gate of her Truck.
She had called JD dealer ship (21 miles away) to be informed there was no one in Pats or the shop that could assist her. Asked when could she talk to someone.........WE ARE IN A MEETING ...no idea as to when you possibly can talk and or order parts!
When Karen drove into our yard she was visibly upset. With CELL PHONE in hand took pictures of the problem, sent pictures to a dealer ship 60 miles away, only to be informed "SPRING" was in TORONTO CANADA,2000 + miles away..delivery SEVEN DAYS.
We removed Spring. With oxy Acetylene Torch, heated end of spring, formed new hook, quenched in a bucket of use oil.....
When the Neighbors NEWHOLLAND DISC BINE had a major catastrophe........reason for no dealer ship service.....SHOP MECHANICS are on a THREE DAY RETERAT ???? %&^(*&%^*&
Neighbor lady and I stated to do the repair around 9:00am....it passed the test run at 7:00pm..
