I have a friend who has taken an IH Farmall H
steering wheel, and used body putty to work in
the cracks, sanded well, and painted. Looks
terrific! He notched out somewhat the cracks
area to put hefty amounts of the filler in. Just
to be sure for it to stay....time will tell. He
took his time and had the wheel off to do it in
the house. You might try that.......
