When I first started smoking, it was either those or unfiltered Kools. Stuck with the former when the latter was discontinued. I won't smoke anywhere in the barn. Was already warned that wet hay & that fancy new 'lectricity was bad enough.... or the methane in the parlor might catch if it gets into the attached milkhouse & finds a motor. Though I have known a few farmers who smoked while milking & the only thing that done them in was cancer. They smoked like chimneys, though.
As an aside, you know the lady at the cigarette place is older when you ask for a pack of Camels & that's just what you get. A short little pack of smokes. Has been like that since they opened a store in town almost 30 years ago. Any of the younger hirees hand me a pack of filters or worse.... Lights. AAAACK! Lol!
