The past few afternoons I have been going up to the woods with my B2150 Kubota with 3pt skidding arch and dropping dead and disabled trees. I got about 4 cord skidded to one of the landings in the woods and blocked up.
Today I had my helper Dustin today so we made a 1-1/2 cord load onto the big trailer. It holds 300cu.ft. of random piled wood off the end of the elevator.
LUNCH TIME----Dustin really likes to eat. 3 blocks makes 2 seats and a table.
The load back home all safe and sound.
I am very fussy about block length. I see people on U-tube use measuring sticks, the saw blade, and those little paint wheels to mark logs for sawing. I have been using a piece of PEX tubing on my saws for years to cut equal length blocks. It is simple and works well for me.
A little before Dustin and I finished off the load, his dad and some buddies came up to the field next to the woods and did some recreational shooting. Dustin stayed up with them for a while and then came back here with the 831C and load firewood trailer. I brought the 431T processor tractor home.
