One of those storms blew in here yesterday morning. Dropped the temps 35 to 40 degrees. Almost got the first frost. But we dodged it. 35 degrees.The forcast hinted it might fall to 31. My beans need more time,corn is far enough it wouldn't be hurt(much).Rained most of yesterday,the first rain in months.Some was hard driveing rain.Got 400 small bales on the ground. Would have been prime (grass-grass/alfalfa) horse hay.On the plus side,sitting and working in the (wood stove) heated shop was nice.And I really enjoyed holding down the recliner by the fire. A tough job,but someone had to do it. :)
