The last construction company I worked for supplied Alemite grease guns.! They were good, but I did wear out a few over the years. Usually going through around 15 tubes per week. I have also bought the cheapest gun from tractor supply. Worked great till I ran over it with an excavator. I currently have a Lincoln from Napa. It’s ok and works good, but it is high pressure and low volume. Takes 2 pumps to equal one pump of a normal gun. I also splurged and bought a Dewalt 20v lithium grease gun from tractor supply. 200 bucks with battery, charger, and case. I love it ! When greasing something like an excavator, or buster it really cuts down the time needed to grease. Biggest thing I wear out is tips. Seems like a lot of them are junk. One more thing to help prevent air locks is to store the grease correctly with the right end up which is the end that goes into the gun first when you load it. Store grease up and down not laying on its side.
