I have a Deere 1520 gas that was completly overhauled. Head done by a good machine shop,carb sent away to a pro,new sleeves and pistons ect. I retorqued the head bolts and readjusted the valves. It runs great both at idle and under load. You have to crank it a long time before it starts. Is there a check valve in the fuel pump? Where do you start on this? New cap,rotor and wires. Have a nice spark at the points but did not replace them. Any ideas? Thanks Tom
