The only legal way to ship it is to have it cleaned and certified vapor free or ship it by LTL freight and claim it as hazardous materials. USPS will not touch it and you need a account with UPS for them to ship hazardous shipments for you.
Or you could just wing it like some suggest and hope for the best. But be forewarned..... The fines for not claiming a shipment is hazardous are very large.
