I bought 2017 SD 350 SRW 4X4 6.2 with 4.30 rears about 13.2 mpg unloaded pulling 10000 lbs trailer about 10.2 depending on outside air temp little better in cool weather about what i said in hot weather. In 2020 I traded for SD 250 SRW 4X4 with 7.3 gas 10 speed trans 4.30 rears . With about 6000 miles it will get over 14 MPG unloaded and 10 pulling same load as 2017 with 6.2. The 10 speed trans really gives truck a leg up over 2017 with 6 speed. I never seem to get Mileage as good as some do, don't quite know why. The 2020 truck with 10 speed will shift to 8th gear and hang in pretty good on a pretty good hill. Just watch TL truck with comparison to chevy and dodge pulling trailer up mountain in colorado. The 7.3 litre Ford SD walks off and leaves them. If you don"t need a diesel or don"t want to pay about 10,000 more for your truck with a lot of expensive maintence, the 2,000 dollar 7.3 with 10 speed looks pretty good to me!

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
