Are you looking for gas or diesel,and what is your price range.I personnely use my cub loboy 184 for towing dead vehicles around,as well as 250 gal. water totes full on a trailer,and it does really good.Those ford lgtd tractors are good for what they are meant to do,but for what you will be doing,I wouldn't even consider a lawn/garden tractor,just because the don't have the weight or traction that is needed.IMO you should be looking at a small farm tractor like a farmall cub,a,b,154,184,185.all which can be had for around $1500
