I've had good luck with Princess Auto cylinders. They can also be modified to replace some odd-ball types. I built a trunnion mount cylinder for a little IHC utility tractor using an generic PA unit. It was NLA from the dealer, but we altered an off-the-rack unit for less than the price of a worn out used part.
Check the distributor mechanical advance weights on the R160. If they are seized up, they can contribute to fuel mixture issues. I ran into that problem on a school bus with a 345 V8 on propane. Fixed the weights, and a rich condition went away. Old bus ran uphill in fifth gear again.
That's nice road gravel you've got there. Wish I had some like that, but it might be a little far to haul from Sask. to BC. unc
