This afternoon I attended a sale for my 86 year old neighbor...He lost his wife and is moving to town.. I've lived within 3 miles of him for most of my life..His specialty was 2N,8N,9N, and Ford Jubilees.... Over the years he bought and sold 100's of them....Most of them went thru his shop... At one time he had 20 Ford tractors in his sheds....He is sure going to be missed....He was a great neighbor, an excellent mechanic, and was known for taking care of things. I drove by his place every time I went to town and there was always something sitting there for sale. He had 2 acres just 3 miles from town on the blacktop...It had an older home in excellent shape with 4 sheds... It sold to my neighbors son for $92,500 which was cheap...
His 1951 Ford 8N parade tractor sold for $3,700..You wouldnt find a nicer one.
Another nice 1951 8N Ford sold for $3,100... A 2003 GMC Sierra pickup with 205,000 well kept miles sold for $3,200...It had a 4.8 engine that sounded great.
A 2013 golf cart with new batteries sold for $3,700...He rode around in it at farm sales. Pictures of some of the tractors that he restored. The Bad Boy mower sold for $2,200...The Poulan mower sold for $425..
The carry-all sold for $140...The 2020 2 wheel trailer in the background sold for $1,200.....It had been used 3 times..The 2015 Kodiak car trailer in the background with 3500 lb axles sold for $2,600...It had a 9000 lb winch.
