one here the local coop has a elevator store,, you can still buy prepackaged feed, fencing supplys ect at,, but they dropped buying grain or cleaning it, only place within 150 miles to have grain cleaned also,, they have a C store and a main store,, the main store sells candles, clothing boots ect,, I have not bought a thing there in over 20 years now,, I still do some biz at the elevator,, like buying millet and wire clips for fencing,, I used to spend 30K plus a year there, my dsl fuel comes from a fuel supplier a few miles away, they beat coops fuel prices by 50 cents a gallon or more and do not charge me a 45.00 delivery fee either,, ours here has not lost my biz due to them offering less items it is 100% due to their prices on things,, I do sell them their straw bales they sell, this year i raised my prices and made them come and pick them up from the field,, they are now paying 5.00 a bale for straw no clue what they sell them for though I have heard 9.00 but cant say for sure cnt
