I have an old MH 101JR that won't throw mud off the back wheels in fourth, high gear. Some early models will hit sixteen easily. I think mine might be slow as it might have had steel wheels at one time. Later 30 and 44 models had five speeds. For grins and giggles here's some pics of the latest tractor drive toy, has 4,300 miles so far this year. Not sure yet was top speed is, but in SOS tenth gear 1500 RPM it runs about 40 MPH..
