Ya this was what I was thinking as the couple of cars I worked on needed trans removed to get disc loosened.I was hoping I just missed something as unit worked no problem for 30 plus years since I bought it in 1977,until it sat for a few months.I didn't think it would have stuck that bad, that fast...but who knows.I was hoping someone had the same trouble & could give me ideas.I thought of loosing PP & trying to loosen disc too. From what I could see with starter removed clutch disc looks like it is in a machined indentation of the flywheel.I had bought a electronic manual of my unit to examine further but pics not as good as I needed to see how it actually is.Anyone know if disc actually sits in a recess of the flywheel? Just one royal pain. Thanks for your input too.
